Our annual Fall Motivational Rally will return to Perry, in conjunction with the Georgia National Fair on Thursday, October 13.  We are excited about all of the things this venue has to offer.  Additionally, there will be many open testing events to introduce your members to our various competitive events this year.

Fall Leadership Conference

The 2011 Fall Leadership Conference will be held November 11 in Athens at the beautiful Classic Center.  You can expect a dynamic general session, informative leadership training workshops, the always thrilling Battle of the Chapters, the opportunity to participate in one of the world’s largest MONOPOLY® Tournaments, and many other activities all in a single day.  This year, FLC activities will begin on Friday at 8:30 am, so plan to arrive early.  FLC hotel reservations will be handled by the Georgia FBLA Housing Reservations Desk.

State Leadership Conference

This year’s State Leadership Conference will be returning to the Hyatt Regency Atlanta on March 23-24.  This will provide yet another opportunity for your students and chapter to shine as they compete among the best in the state in our competitive events program and state officer elections.  We are expanding our series of informative leadership workshops and other exciting offerings for students and advisers.   Make sure you don’t forget these deadlines while planning your chapter’s busy FBLA Week activities.   All SLC hotel reservations will be handled by the Georgia FBLA Housing Reservations Desk.

Important State Leadership Conference Facts & Dates:

When:  March 23-24

Where:  Hyatt Regency Atlanta

How Much: $70 (includes food vouchers if staying at Hyatt)

Region Leadership Conferences

Region Leadership Conferences will be held throughout the state January 17-February 3.  There are many changes to our RLC events.  See page 16 for more information.  All objective testing events will be tested through school-site testing.  Members entering performance events will still compete at the Region Leadership Conference.   SLC eligibility rules for RLC events are changing.  See page 17 for more information.  Each RLC will offer exciting and informative workshops.

National Leadership Conference

Join over 8,000 FBLA members from across the globe at the 2012 National Leadership Conference in San Antonio, Texas.  The NLC concludes the year's activities and sets the stage for the upcoming school year.  FBLA members and advisers participate in business-related and leadership development workshops, tour business and corporate facilities, elect national officers, and participate in national competitive events. Georgia FBLA will coordinate housing and travel for the entire state delegation.
