Georgia FBLA Earns Most Awards Ever at NLC

Georgia FBLA members worked hard to prepare for events as the 2009 FBLA National Leadership Conference was held in Anaheim, California.

Local Students Celebrate FBLA Week Minimize

Albany, GA- Dougherty High School FBLA Chapter #3095 in Albany, GA, will be celebrating FBLA-PBL Week, February 9- 13, 2009. A famous quote from Shakespeare, “It is not in the stars to hold our destiny, but in ourselves.”

FBLA members are leaders in search for knowledge to become better citizens. This knowledge will prepare them for the great task of leadership ahead. 

Among the many activities scheduled for this special week are: The FBLA Week Kickoff will begin on February 9, 2009 with a morning announcement on the FBLA Emblem and FBLA Motto:  Service, Progress and Education. The chapter will conduct a membership drive to recruit new members and professional members during the week of activities. February 11 will be Adviser Appreciation Day, CTE Officer’s Breakfast and the FBLA T-shirt day. February 12 will be Dress for Success Day. February 13 will be DCHS/ FBLA Teacher Appreciation, FBLA Member Appreciation Day, Valentine’s Day Treats and the DCHS/ FBLA Connecting of the Chapter Activity.  

Future Business Leaders of America- Phi Beta Lambda, INC. (FBLA-PBL) is a nonprofit vocational student organization that prepares students for careers in business education. Its 250,000- plus members and advisors in 12,000 chartered chapters include students from the United States, the Virgin Islands, Puerto Rico, and Europe.
